IBISWorld recently had the privilege of presenting at the Illinois Bankers Association ONE Conference in Peoria, where over a hundred bankers gathered to collaborate and network on a variety of topics, including Lending, Leadership, Marketing, and Risk. In attendance, were banks of varying shapes and sizes - community and regional banks headquartered in Illinois, as well as large national players with branches and operations there.
Regardless of a bank’s size, it’s always great to see bankers from different institutions get together to discuss the topics impacting them most at any given time. It’s something we’ve observed at many of the conferences we’ve attended since the pandemic, as well as at our own Deposit Strategy Summits, where bankers have shared ideas with one another on how to grow commercial deposits specifically.
At the ONE Conference, we presented on the different ways IBISWorld clients have been using industry, economic, and state-specific research to:
- Create targeted lists of customer industries within their footprint for Marketing & Sales Strategy
- Better prepare sales teams to have meaningful conversations with businesses in those industries
- Develop loan packages for Credit teams with up-to-date financial benchmarks and risk ratings
