  • Rising National Living Wage and Employers National Insurance Contributions will elevate the financial burden for restaurants—particularly as labour costs contributed 33.9% of revenue in 2024-25. In April 2025, the NLW is set to rise, while the employer’s NIC will climb from 13.8% to 15% and the contribution threshold will be lowered from £9100 to £5000.
