EIC Activities: provides engineering-related design, technical support, research and technology for Group projects. Devine Limited: Australian residential property developer. CIMIC Group also has investments in: Ventia: a service company that focuses on telecommunications, infrastructure and utility industries. (32.8% interest) Thiess: provides contract mining services including planning, mine infrastructure, material handling and processing, plant management and technical services across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Philippines, South Africa, India and Mongolia. In December 2020 CIMIC Group sold a 50% interest in Thiess to Elliott Advisors (UK) Ltd. Thiess is now operated as a 50/50 joint venture between CIMIC and Elliott.
